Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition where a person feels pain in the muscles, joints and tissue. This is often accompanied by fatigue. 90% of people with fibromyalgia are women. While the cause of fibromyalgia is unknown, scientists believe that it is related to the spine, brain stem, and central nervous system.

However, researchers have discovered that diet can play a big part in overcoming fibromyalgia. In a study, 17 fibromyalgia patients were put on a diet eliminating most common food allergens. Corn, wheat, dairy, citrus, soy, nuts, and sugar foods were eliminated from their diets to see if food allergies were part of the problem.
